To promote the release of their animated film Wolfwalkers, acclaimed Irish studio Cartoon Saloon partnered with us to create a striking projection installation in their hometown of Kilkenny. Inspired by a previous projection we had produced on the same site, the team developed a bespoke animated sequence that brought the world of Wolfwalkers to life on the side of Kilkenny Castle, overlooking the river. I worked as one of the projector technicians on the project, handling the projection mapping of the custom content onto the castle’s façade. I also assisted with the setup and alignment of the projectors, as well as the configuration of the media server system used to drive the animation. The final piece served as both a visual tribute to the film and a powerful moment of connection between the studio and the local community.
