Shine Your Light was a nationwide project by RTÉ to mark the winter solstice with a powerful celebration of light, music, and community. The event featured a live televised orchestral performance, a dance and light show atop Knowth, and multiple large-scale projection mapping installations across iconic locations in Ireland. I was part of the team responsible for delivering the projection mapping elements of the project. My specific role focused on two major sites: the Wellington Monument in Phoenix Park, Dublin, and the side facade of Kilkenny Castle. I handled the setup, calibration, and mapping of both locations, ensuring clean, precise projection that complemented the narrative and visual direction of the national broadcast. This project was a technically demanding and emotionally resonant moment during the winter of the pandemic, and I was proud to help bring light and art to public spaces across the country.
