Rising was a collaborative project with Broken Talkers for the Dublin Theatre Festival, designed as a powerful visual and audio installation on the River Liffey to raise awareness about the threat of rising sea levels. The piece combined immersive sound design, animated laser graphics projected onto the riverside walls, and a dynamic light show across the water.
I was responsible for programming the moving lights and light sequences, which were fully timecoded to synchronize with the audio and laser content. Using a grandMA lighting console, I created a tightly timed light show that supported the narrative and emotional rhythm of the piece. I also worked closely with UK-based laser specialists ER Productions to set up and integrate the timecode system, ensuring all elements ran in perfect sync throughout the live installation.
