Portals was a digital art piece created for the Atelier des Lumières festival in Paris, where our studio was selected as one of ten to contribute to the fully immersive, projection-mapped experience within the venue’s vast interior.
As one of the 3D artists on the project, I played a key role in shaping the sci-fi-inspired environment. I was heavily involved in constructing and detailing large sections of the stylized walls and structures that formed the foundation of the piece’s visual world. I also created animated elements, including pulsing energy pipes and light-based motion sequences that added depth, rhythm, and atmosphere to the final projection.
The work was designed specifically for Atelier des Lumières’ multi-surface format, surrounding audiences with 360° motion visuals and transforming the space into an otherworldly digital landscape.
